Les dejo aquí un relato de lo ocurrido anoche en Cologne, durante el concierto de 30 Seconds to Mars. Un agradecimento especial a JACKY (J30STM, en el Foro Oficial de los chicos) por permitirme traducir al español su relato y publicar algunas de sus fotos. De esta manera, podemos disfrutar en latinoamérica, un poquito de lo que han vivido en Europa estos días. Thank you Jacky!!!!

COLOGNE, 11 DE FEBRERO DE 2008

Hola chicos, vengo llegando de Cologne y lo nuevamente lo pasé genial con todos.La prueba de sonido fue muy especial, aunque no se permitió filmar debido a las canciones que tocarían. Sólo nos permitieron tomar fotos sin flash.

Tomé una o dos, porque me sentí incómoda haciéndolo.Estuvimos ahí alrededor de 40 a 50 minutos y vimos a los chicos tocar BOO, Capricorn (con un nuevo arreglo) con toda la banda, Pressure y algunas otras cosas nuevas, que por cierto, fueron geniales

.

Luego salimos y fuimos por algo de comer y volvimos al lugar. Terminamos al fondo, no hubo manera de quedar en el frente.El show comenzó con O Fortuna, pero no recuerdo las canciones en el orden en que las tocaron. Jared tuvo problemas con su voz en un comienzo.Gradualmente, mientras el show continuaba, su voz fue entrando en calor y sonó mejor. No estaba en el mejor lugar para ver el escenario completo, sólo vislumbraba lo que estaba ocurriendo. Definitivamente odio ese lugar, con tantos pilares en el medio que te tapan la vista por completo.

Parece que los chicos disfrutaron mucho.Bueno, A Modern Myth no tuvo a Tomo en el violín (al menos, nunca oí el violín, ni ví a Tomo en el escenario), sólo estaba Jared. Me encantó cuando cantaron Message in a bottle. Las canciones que hicieron en versión acústica fueron: Message in a bottle, Oblivion, Echelon, Modern Myth. El nuevo arreglo de Capricorn con la banda completa fue maravilloso, la canción tiene un montón de nuevos quiebres que la hacen aún más poderosa.Ah, y por fin pude ver en vivo R-Evolve, tuve que derramar algunas lágrimas en esa, pero increíble, ¡esa canción significa tanto para mí!.La última canción fue The Fantasy.

Después de todo, no pude hacerles llegar mi entrega a los muchachos, porque no había firma y parecía un zoológico, con los chicos detrás de las barreras.Les dejo unas fotos que tomé, nuevamente, de no muy buena calidad a causa de la distancia, pero quiero compartirlas de todas formas.
No voy a postear las fotos de la prueba de sonido porque son demasiado especiales para mí, espero que puedan entenderlo. De todas formas, son sólo dos.Gracias a las chicas por otro fantástico día juntas, ya habrá una próxima vez…

RELATO ORIGINAL

Hey guys, just got back from Cologne and had a great time out there with everybody again.The soundcheck was very special, but no vids were allowed, because of the songs they played. We were allowed to take pics without flash. Did take 1 or 2 , because I felt a bit uncomfortable doing it.We were in there for about 40/50 minutes and watched the guys play BOO, Capricorn ( new arragement ) full band, Pressure and some new stuff. Awesome btw.

Then we were taken outside and all went for a bite to eat and headed back to the venue.We ended up way in the back, there was no way getting to the front.Show started with O fortuna, but lost track of the order songs were played in, J-rod was strugeling with his voice in the beginning, sounded horse.

Gradualy while the show went on his voice warmed and sounded better. (...)I wasn't in a very good spot to see the whole stage, only got glimpses of what was going on. I def hate this venue, it has various pilars in the middle, which take away your view completely.It seemed that the guys enjoyed themselves as well.BTW A Modern Myth was NOT with Tomo on violin ( at least I never heard a voilin and saw No Tomo on stage ), it was only J-rod. I liked the Message in a bottle part a lot as well.

The acoustic set was: Message in a bottle, Oblivion, Echelon, Modern Myth. The new arragement to Capricorn full band was awesome, it has a lot of new breaks in the song, which makes it even more powerfull.Oh and I got R-Evolve finally live, had to shed a few tears during that one, but amazing, as the song has special meaning for me!Last song was The Fantasy.

Didn't get to make my delivery to the guys after all, as there was no signing and it was like a zoo, with guys all behind fences at the end outside.Here are some of the pics I took, again not very good quality, because of the distance, but wanted to share them anyway.(...)I am not posting the soundcheck pics though as they are special to me, hope you will understand, it's only 2 of m anyway.Thanks to all the girls for another fantastic day spent together, next time, let's do it again.(...)
