The Echelon Strikes Again: 30 SECONDS TO MARS WINS 2 Kerrang! Awards AND an MTV award!

Thanks to the passion of the fans, Kerrang! and MTV, 30 SECONDS TO MARS will be adding THREE new awards to your virtual trophy room.

The first – MTV Asia's "Video Star" Award – was acquired earlier this month in Genting Highlands, Malaysia. What an amazing tribute to A BEAUTIFUL LIE and the support everyone has given to its environmental message!

The next two awards – Kerrang! Magazine's "Best International Band" and "Best Single" for FROM YESTERDAY were picked up last week in London, England. Not one of these awards would be remotely possible without your incredible support and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Although we were supposed to be in Los Angeles recording our new cd, we decided to play hooky and head to the Kerrang! Awards in London. We though it important to show up and represent the Echelon on the chance that we won. We accepted the awards on behalf of our wonderful fans as they really belong to us all.

Regarding the TROPHY ROOM: This is YOUR room, as these are YOUR awards. We couldn't begin to assume that anything we've earned could have been possible without the unquestionable passion, dedication and support of our family of friends and fans: the Echelon. We wish we could manufacture an award for each of you so instead we created this trophy room that will be the home for all. Now every one can share them and see what you've all accomplished. El Echelon ataca de nuevo: 30 Seconds to Mars gana 2 premios Kerrang! y un premio MTV!

Gracias a la pasión de los fans, 30 Seconds to Mars agregará tres nuevos premios a tu habitación de trofeo virtual.

El primero, el premio “Video Star” (video estrella) de MTV Asia, fue adquirido a principio de este mes en Genting Highlands, Malaysia. Que gran tributo a A Beautiful Lie y al apoyo que todos nos han dado a este mensaje del medio ambiente.

Los siguientes dos premios, “Best International Band” ( mejor banda internacional) y “ Best Single” ( mejor sencillo) por From Yesterday, de la revista Kerrang! fueron elegidos la última semana en Londres, Inglaterra.

Ninguno de estos premios hubiera sido remotamente posible sin el increíble apoyo y les agradecemos desde el fondo de nuestros corazones. Aunque, supuestamente estábamos grabando nuestro nuevo disco, decidimos escaparnos y dirigirnos a los premios Kerrang! en Londres. Pensamos que era importante aparecer y representar al Echelon en el caso que ganaramos. Aceptamos los premios en nombre de nuestros maravillosos fans así como ellos realmente nos pertenecen a todos.

En respecto a la Habitación de Trofeo: Esta es tu habitación, así como tus trofeos. No podríamos dejar de asumir que nada de lo que hemos ganado, habría sido posible sin la incuestionable pasión, dedicación y apoyo de nuestra familia, amigos y fans: el Echelon.

Nos gustaría poder fabricar un premio para cada uno de ustedes, pero en lugar de eso, hemos creado esta Habitación de Trofeo que será un hogar para todos. Ahora cada uno puede compartirlo y ver todo lo que han logrado.

Demanda contra 30 Seconds To Mars

Virgin Records interpuso ayer una demanda contra 30 Seconds To Mars, en la que le piden al grupo de Jared Leto 30 millones de dólares por incumplimiento de contrato. El contrato que la discográfica firmó en su día con la banda obligaba a ésta a grabar 3 discos, mientras que el grupo solo ha grabado 2 y tiene planes de que el 3º para el sello no sea más que una reedición de "A Beautiful Lie".
